Margaret Lockwood
Manager
Hello and welcome, my name is Margaret and I am the manager of St Johns Pre-School.
Its been a privilege serving the local community for the last 35 years.
My favourite part of teaching is seeing the faces of the little ones as they achieve they little goals which make up their building blocks of learning and development. Also seeing children and parents come back and visit us or stopping us in the street to tell us their achievements and accomplishments in life as well as their happy and favourite memories of their time in the pre-school.

My name is Violet, i have spent the last 27 years working at St Johns with the last 17 years as the Deputy Manager and SENCO,
After starting with St Johns as a parent working with helping with SEN children i decided to change careers and have loved every minute of it.
I have enjoyed all the changes that the pre school and centre have gone through over the years and loved seeing the amount of confident, educated and prepared young children that have developed and passed through our care

Janie Hughes
Special Needs Worker
My name is Janie, i have been working in St Johns for the last 17 years but my affiliation to the pre school started 25 years ago when my daughter attended. I then joined as a chairperson, helping in all aspects of running the pre school. Previously i was and additional needs worker in primary school settings so have plenty of experience from 2-10years.
Supporting the children to learn and flourish in our provision is very rewarding, helping to set them up for a smooth transition to primary education with the skills and confidence to grow and help them have excellent foundations to support their future endeavours
